I'm a Computer Science student at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, on track to graduate in May 2028. As a first-generation college student, I've built most of this path by figuring things out and breaking things.
I currently work as a Remote IT Specialist at Sinjar Academy. My interests sit where backend software engineering and systems meet, and I like understanding how things work all the way down.
Right now I'm focused on building real, full-stack projects and looking for software engineering internships. Longer term, I want to build technology that's genuinely accessible and mentor students coming from under-resourced backgrounds.
Outside of work and school, I like playing volleyball and reading sci-fi and dystopian books.
A full-stack job application tracker. I built a REST API in FastAPI over a normalized PostgreSQL schema (users, applications, contacts) to track application states and status transitions, using SQLAlchemy for data access and Pydantic for validation, with pytest coverage across every endpoint. I'm extending it with a React dashboard for an Applied → Interview → Offer pipeline.
A terminal-based Wordle built in Python with colored feedback and robust input validation. I designed an efficient word-comparison algorithm and split the logic into clean, reusable modules built for easy extension.
A Python tool for encrypting and decrypting text with customizable shift values, with careful input validation and string handling. Built with a modular design to keep the algorithm clean and easy to follow.
Provide remote IT support and build small technical solutions for the team, and volunteer my time to keep day-to-day systems running smoothly. I diagnose and resolve technical issues across the academy's learning platforms so students and instructors stay online, help users get comfortable with the software and coding tools they rely on, and track down recurring problems so the same things don't keep breaking.
Led supervision and logistics for student groups at a national leadership conference and coordinating schedules and group movements across concurrent sessions and handling real-time issues to keep a safe, structured environment.
